Meet Our Executive Chef: Jim Drost

Jim Drost joined Baker’s Best Catering in May 2022 as Vice President of Culinary Operations and Executive Chef, bringing a hands-on approach to the culinary program. A Johnson and Wales University graduate, Jim has introduced new seasonal menu rotations and limited-time menus focused on holidays and food celebrations. Jim manages a team of 95 employees across culinary, expo, and purchasing departments, focusing on internal development and delivering fresh meals to clients throughout the Boston/Metro-west area.

Previously, Jim was the Vice President of Operations for F&B Restaurant Management LLC in Charlottesville, VA, overseeing four restaurants, including Augusta Kitchen. He has also served as Director of Culinary for Matchbox Food Group and Metropolitan Hospitality Group, and as Executive Chef for Great American Restaurants. Jim now lives in Worcester County, MA with his wife and two children.
