Bakers’ Best is a Boston and Metro West area caterer and cafe, specializing in full
service social catering and event planning, corporate catering, and featuring an extensive specialty foods menu for pickup or delivery.
Since the day Michael Baker opened the doors of Bakers’ Best in 1984, our focus has been
to provide our customers with the finest quality foods and distinctive professional service. Over the years, we have garnered a loyal customer base with our comfort foods, classic dishes, and
creative specialties.
Our popular culinary creations have earned us Boston Magazine’s “Best of
Boston” award 11 times since 1995, placing us in the “Best of Boston Hall of Fame”. We have been honored with “Best Caterer”, “Best Take-out”, “Best
Take-out Food West of the City”, “Best Brunch in the ‘Burbs”, as well as “Best of Boston” awards for some of our signature dishes.
In 2007 we expanded, opening a 10,000 square foot state-of-the-art commissary in Needham,
to support our growing catering business. We are extremely proud of our food production facility and corporate offices. This marked a new chapter in Bakers’ Best history!
Cafe and Retail Store
Our business began with our retail store and cafe located in the charming village of Newton
Highlands, where we feature a delicious variety of prepared specialty foods, sandwiches, and homemade soups for take-out or dining in, and offer full service brunch on Saturday and Sunday and breakfast
at the counter on weekdays.
Full Service Catering
Our catering offices provide both full service event planning for social or
corporate functions, as well as personal catering assistance. Whether you seek a fully staffed event or just want delicious food delivered to your door, we can help create memorable family
gatherings, special celebrations and elegant parties.
Corporate Catering
Our corporate catering division specializes in full service corporate
catering and delivery for your business needs. Our clients include many Fortune 500 companies and local businesses in Boston, Newton, Waltham, Cambridge and surrounding areas.
